Brookside Farm is a family run farm business that practices sustainable agricultural farming and community activities. Our farm lies in the middle of a full-fledged rural environment, with both conventional and advanced technologies, to grow a crop of diverse products of high quality and keep healthy animals.
Having decades of experience, Brookside Farm has made soil health, water conservation, and biodiversity one of its priorities so that every one of the harvests is beneficial to the ecosystem. In addition to agriculture, we also participate in community events with our neighbors by supporting educational activities, farm tours, and volunteer work allowing a closer relationship between individuals and the land.

Our Key Initiatives Include
- Organic Crop Production: We cultivate various varieties of organic vegetables, fruits and grains that are produced using sustainable methods which include crop rotation, cover cultivating and use of natural pests to ensure the soil remains alive and to minimize the use of chemicals.
- Livestock Management: Our livestock are raised in a responsible manner which is highlighted by large pasture grazing and natural feeding of their animals which enhance welfare of animals and also give them good meat, dairy and eggs.
- Agroforestry and Habitat Conservation: Combinations of trees with crop fields help us to enhance biodiversity, erosion, and habitats of native fauna.
- Water Conservation Projects: We enhance efficiency of water and conserve the waterways within the region by water harvesting of rain, drip irrigation systems and wetlands.
- Community: Brookside Farm is concerned with education and social impact and therefore offers sustainable agriculture related workshops, partnership with the nearby schools to offer them a hands-on learning experience and go to farmers markets to help the food systems in the area.
