In Brookside Farm, we have agricultural projects geared towards the development of the land and the enrichment of the community.
Horticulture
Brookside Farm also exploits the opportunities of dry land agriculture as well as modern irrigation methods to produce extensive crops of high quality.
Our horticultural business aims at cultivating fruits, vegetables and herbs that suit the climate conditions in Zimbabwe using sustainable practices that maximize soil well-being and water utilization.
What We Grow
Organic tomatoes, salad greens, maize, onions, pumpkins, potatoes, etc.
Our Methods
- Dry Land farming: The application of conservation agriculture principles in order to maximize the yields in the rain fed regions.
- Irrigation Systems: The good management of water with drip and sprinkler irrigation systems assures the year round crop production.
- Crop Diversity and Rotation: Growing off-season and seasonal crops to satisfy the local and regional needs as well as improve soil health.

Poultry Production and Value Addition
The poultry project by Brookside Farm is a combination of producing eggs and broilers and providing value-added processing to achieve the best standards in the industry.
Products
Fresh, processed and packaged poultry to the local and regional markets: (chicken eggs, whole chickens, chicken cuts).
Farming Practices
